Garden Rain Gauge

Cast iron and glass garden rain gauge with chicken decoration.

This is a handy garden essential for measuring the rainfall in your garden. The glass insert is held by a simply stunning, cast iron rest, in front of a cast chicken backplate. The glass insert has a printed scale which measures in centimetres and inches. One millimetre of measured precipitation is the equivalent of one litre of rainfall per metre squared.

The rain gauge can be inserted into your garden safely and easily by simply inserting the spiked end into a grassed area.
